| Watercolorist Wyatt Waters of Jackson painted this scene from the Natchez Trace where it crosses Big Bayou Pierre near Port Gibson. My family spent many happy hours on this exact sand and pebble creek bank. We fished and camped and swam long before the modern Natchez Trace bridge was built over this little corner of paradise. |
