| In our family, homecoming has always referred to the little church. Synonymous with homecoming is dinner on the ground. Homecoming is not homecoming without dinner on the ground (even if it is on tables). So most of the congregation took their plates outside to sit under the trees. Most of the congregation was thoroughly soaked. |
